Generation Motorcycle Run -- July 26, 2009
The 6th annual Dice Run to
benefit UHR takes place on July 26. With a scenic country
ride, huge BBQ and live music, the day is sure to be a
blast. There are prizes, trophies, tshirts and more. Sign up
at Haverstraw Motorsports on Rt 9W between 930am-11am. The
ride ends at the Pomona Legion Hall. Walk-ins are welcome.

Music Marathon -- December 12
& 13, 2009 at Palisades Center
For the
9th consecutive year, Rockland County music students will
give up free weekend time to perform in a music marathon t
the Palisades Center. Sponsored by the Rockland County Music
Teacher's Guild, the marathon showcases hundreds of
talentead students including pianists, vocalists and
violinists from around the County. All proceeds go to UHR's
music therapy program. Students need to collect donations
with a minimum of $25 to participate and will receive a
certificate of performance and a complimentary marathon
tshirt. There will also be special prizes awarded to the top
fundraisers, a free raffle for participants and a grand
raffle for the public. To date, the Guild has brought in
almost $120,000 for Hospice through the Music Marathon. For

Tree of Life --
December 16, 2009 at Palisades Center
Throughout
the month of December, stop by the Palisades Center, first
floor near Banana Republic and purchase a star in honor or
memory of a loved one to hang on our Trees of Life. The
annual event will take place on Wednesday, December 16 at
730pm with a special tree lighting ceremony, entertainment
and refreshments. To purchase a star, call Connie Grunfeld,
